Oldest Player - Amit Mishra (37 years)

Amit Mishra has had a splendid IPL career so far. The attacking right-arm leg-break bowler has a total of 157 wickets in the IPL in 147 matches. Mishra has also maintained an impressive economy rate of 7.35. He has played in all the 12 IPL editions thus far.

The veteran spinner yielded good results for the Delhi-based franchise last year too as he picked up 11 wickets in 11 matches. Delhi Capitals retained Mishra for ₹4 crore ahead of IPL 2020.

Apart from Mishra, a few other senior players in DC are Ravichandran Ashwin (33) and Shikhar Dhawan (34).

Youngest Player - Sandeep Lamichhane (19 years)

The youngest player in the DC squad is Sandeep Lamichhane. The wrist-spinner from Nepal is just 19 years old. He impressed in his first two IPL seasons - picking up 13 wickets in 9 matches, at a strike-rate of 16.15. Lamichhane is a clever bower and has multiple variations that help him in picking up wickets regularly. He is currently playing for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League.

Some of the other young players in Delhi Capitals are: Prithvi Shaw (20), Keemo Paul (21), and Rishabh Pant (22).
