#3 Pawan Negi | INR 8.5 Crores | Delhi Daredevils (2016)
Pawan Negi had a decent edition in 2015 season with Chennai Super Kings but as they were not in the 2016 edition, Negi went into auction pool. Delhi Daredevils bought him for a heavy amount but that proved out to be a disaster for them as he scored just 57 runs with the bat at a strike-rate under 100 in eight matches that he played. With the ball, he took just a single wicket in those eight matches with an economy of over 9 runs per over.
#2 Tymal Mills | INR 12 Crores | Royal Challengers Bangalore (2017)
This would be Royal Challengers Bangalore's second-worst buy after purchasing Yuvraj Singh in 2014 for ₹14 crores. Mills was bought in IPL after his successful time at the three-match T20I series against India for England.
But for RCB, Mills could only pick five wickets at an economy over 8.5 and average close to 30 in the five matches that he played for them.
#1 Yuvraj Singh | INR 16 Crores | Delhi Daredevils (2015)
Another purchase by the Delhi Daredevils appears in this list and no one ever thought that Yuvraj Singh's name will ever appear in a list of this kind. After spending one year with RCB, Yuvraj moved to DD but had a terrible time there as he could score only 248 runs in the 14 games that he played in the entire season at a paltry average of 19. With ball as well, he took just one wicket at an economy rate of over 8.
