Each franchise at the IPL auction 2020 was allotted an extra purse of INR 3 Cr to elevate their auction purse from 82 Cr to 85 Cr this year. After retaining a chunk of their squad for next year's VIVO IPL, the teams now have a limited amount of purse remaining as they head into the auction day on December 19.

Kings XI Punjab enjoys the highest remaining purse for the upcoming auction while Mumbai Indians, the defending champions have the least available purse to fill-in the voids, if any, in their squad.

Here's a look at the remaining auction purse for each team at the IPL auction 2020:

Kings XI Punjab: 42.70 Crores (9 Slots available and 4 Overseas slots)

Kolkata Knight Riders: 35.65 Crores (11 Slots available and 4 Overseas slots)
