Sunrisers Hyderabad replaced the Deccan Chargers franchise in the Indian Premier League from the 2013 season. The likes of Tom Moody, VVS Laxman and Muttiah Muralitharan have been in the coaching staff of this franchise. Thus, a lot of new players nurtured well under their guidance.

The Hyderabad franchise finished at the 4th place in its debut season and it took them just 3 years to lift their first IPL title. Popularly known as the Orange Army, SRH lifted the IPL trophy in the year 2016 under the leadership of David Warner. Last year, they finished at the 2nd position, which shows the level of consistency that this team has.

Performance in IPL 2014 - 15 wickets

Uttar Pradesh born leg-spinner, Karn Sharma was the first uncapped player who played for India after impressing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Meerut leg-spinner picked 15 wickets in his 2nd IPL season for SRH which paved the way for his T20I debut.

Sharma received his maiden T20I cap in a match against England on 7th September 2014. However, that proved to be the only T20I Karn played in his career as he failed to make it to the Indian playing XI in any other T20I match after his debut.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made the headlines by signing local pacer, Mohammad Siraj for a whopping amount of 2.6 crores in the 2017 IPL auction. Siraj did not disappoint his owners as he picked 10 wickets in the 6 matches he played for the Orange Army. His best figures in the 2017 season were 4/32.

His impressive debut season handed him his national call-up in the same year itself as Siraj made his T20I debut for India in a T20I match against New Zealand. He has played 3 T20I matches for India thus far. Last year, he moved to the Royal Challengers Bangalore side and Siraj is set to play for the same franchise in the upcoming season of IPL. T20I debut - June, 2018

Performance in IPL 2018 - 21 wickets

Siddharth Kaul started his journey along with Virat Kohli in the ICC U-19 World Cup in 2008. However, he could not reach the level of Kohli as the right-handed batsman became the captain of the Indian team when Kaul was finding it hard to make it to the national team. Siddharth finally made it to the national team in June 2018 thanks to his stunning performance with the ball in IPL 2018.

Kaul scalped 21 wickets in the 2018 IPL season for Sunrisers Hyderabad which helped him earn his maiden T20I cap against Ireland. Kaul was a part of the Indian squad in the recently-concluded T20I series versus Australia. Sunrisers Hyderabad retained him for the next season as Kaul would be keen to maintain his record in the league.
