Rohit Sharma is yet another captain who made it to the Orange Cap leaderboard, with a tally of 489 runs at a strike rate of 132.88 in 14 innings. He regularly steadied the Mumbai Indians innings after early collapses.

Rohit struck 5 half centuries, 49 fours and 16 sixes in IPL 2016, at an average of 44.45. However, that did not help Mumbai Indians as they failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Shikhar Dhawan played superbly for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2016. and deserves a lot of credit for the team‘s title win. Dhawan scored 501 runs in 17 innings at a strike rate of 116.78.

The man nicknamed 'Gabbar' stepped up for his team whenever David Warner failed to click. He hit 51 fours and 8 sixes and scored his runs at an average of 38.53.
