A total of 47 centuries have been scored by 30 different batsmen in the last ten seasons of the IPL. Players from eight of the eleven franchises have scored centuries; the only franchises that have not had a player score a century for them are Pune Warriors India, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and Gujarat Lions.

#5 Royal Challengers Banglore

AB de Villiers has three IPL centuries to his name

We have the Royal Challengers Bangalore at number five on this list. They are one of the few teams on this list who have never lifted the IPL trophy.

Nevertheless, the Royal Challengers have always been a squad with the best of batsmen in the world of cricket which is proven by the fact that they have a total tally of 12 centuries in the last ten editions of the IPL.

Four of their players have scored a hundred and Manish Pandey was the one to score their inaugural century. Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, and AB de Villiers have scored 11 more centuries since then. They have won all the matches in which they have scored a century except one match against the Gujarat Lions in 2016.

Chirs Gayle holds the record for the highest number of centuries in the IPL (five). He has been bought by the King XI Punjab this season and will be playing for them.

Regarded as one of the most successful IPL teams ever, Chennai Super Kings have two IPL and two CLT20 titles under their belt.

Chennai Super Kings have witnessed five IPL centuries scored by their batsmen, breaking into four different players. Micheal Hussey was the first player from the Chennai Super Kings squad to have ever scored a century in the IPL.

Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, and Brendon McCullum are the other Chennai Super Kings players to score a hundred. They have never lost a match when any of their players scored a century, winning five out of five games.

#3 Mumbai Indians

The most successful team in the IPL, Mumbai Indians is at number three on this list. They have won the IPL title thrice (2013, 2015 and 2017) and the CLT20 title twice (2011 and 2013).

Sanath Jayasuriya was the one to score the first century for the Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season of the IPL and since then three other players scored centuries in the course of the last ten seasons making a tally of four centurions.

The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar's first century in the IPL couldn't help the Mumbai Indian win their match against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011. Mumbai Indians have won three out of four matches in which their players have scored a hundred.

One of the few teams who have never lifted the IPL trophy, Delhi Daredevils have a long list of iconic batsmen but they all failed to deliver an IPL title for them.

Six of their players have scored an IPL century and AB de Villiers was the first player to score it for them. David Warner, Virender Sehwag, Sanju Samson, Quinton de Kock, and Kevin Pietersen are the other players who have scored a century for them.

Delhi Daredevils' batsmen have scored a century on six different occasions, and the capital-based side has never lost a match when any of their players have scored a hundred.

Virender Sehwag has two IPL hundreds to his name.

Kings XI Punjab may have never lifted the IPL trophy, but they have secured the top spot on our list. Eight of their players have scored a century in the IPL.

Shaun Marsh was the first player to score a century for them in the very first season of the IPL. Adam Gilchrist, Mahela Jayawardene, David Miller, Hashim Amla, Paul Valthaty, Virender Sehwag, and Wriddhiman Saha are the other players to have scored a hundred for them.

A total of nine centuries have been scored by the players of Kings XI Punjab, of which they lost the match on three different occasions. Famously, Wriddhiman Saha's brilliant century couldn't lead them to glory in the final match of the 2014 edition.
