13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi scripted history by becoming the youngest player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history after securing a deal with the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Day 2 of the 2025 Auction in Jeddah on Monday, November 25.

Vaibhav had already become the youngest player to be on the auction list, and when his name came up towards the end of the accelerated auction, it sparked interest from the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
