They failed to make it to the playoffs and finished ninth on the points table. Out of 14 matches, they managed to win just four, facing 10 defeats.Moreover, Samson himself did not have a great impact with the bat, affecting their performance. Due to his injury, he missed a few games in between as well with Riyan Parag taking over as skipper.Samson played just nine matches in the whole season and scored 285 runs at an average of 35.62 and a strike rate of 140.39 with just one half-century to his name.
