Mumbai Indians (MI) star Suryakumar Yadav is making the most of his time off the game by watching some of his favorite Bollywood comedy movies. The swashbuckling batter unwound by viewing the 2010 blockbuster 'Golmaal 3'.

Suryakumar shared a small clip featuring veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty from the famous movie on his Instagram story. He added four laughter emojis and wrote along with the video:

Suryakumar is an avid movie buff and has often shared videos of different comedy movies on his Instagram stories. He has also left fans in stitches with his film references on several occasions.

On the cricketing front, Suryakumar enjoyed an imperious run in the recently concluded IPL 2025. He was the second-highest run-getter of the edition, aggregating 717 runs across 16 innings at a strike rate of 167.91.

He scored at least 25 runs in each of his innings. The 34-year-old was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the season for his stunning batting exploits.

The Mumbai-based side couldn't make it to the IPL 2025 final. They bowed out of the tournament with a five-wicket defeat to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Qualifier 2.

Following the culmination of IPL 2025, Suryakumar Yadav featured in the T20 Mumbai League 2025, where he captained Triumphs Knights MNE. However, the side endured a dismal campaign, failing to qualify for the semi-finals.

The side secured just one victory from five fixtures, finishing sixth in the points table. Suryakumar scored 122 runs from four innings at a strike rate of 158.44.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led side took on North Mumbai Panthers on Sunday, June 8, in their final league-stage match of the season. They couldn't finish their campaign on a high and slumped to a 38-run defeat in the clash.

North Mumbai Panthers skipper Prithvi Shaw shone with the bat, notching up a spectacular half-century. The opening batter scored 75 runs off 34 deliveries with the help of three sixes and 12 fours.
