Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Cameron Green took a stunning catch to dismiss Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, April 28. Gill, who was well set for 16 runs off 19 balls, failed to get to a big score.
The dismissal came in the seventh over of GT's innings. Glenn Maxwell bowled a tossed-up delivery and Gill went for a lofted shot towards long on. Green sprinted to his left and took a diving catch.

With the wicket, RCB ensured GT openers Wriddhiman Saha and Gill were both dismissed cheaply to leave the hosts at 45/2 after 6.4 overs.
Cameron Green is one of the best fielders in modern-day cricket. The 24-year-old recently pulled off a one-handed catch against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He has also amassed 111 runs and six wickets this season so far.
Meanwhile, Shubman Gill has failed to perform consistently in IPL ahead of the T20 World Cup, barring his two half-centuries against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). The right-hander, though, has amassed 320 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 140.96.

At the time of writing, the Titans were 92/2 after 11 overs, with the duo at the crease. Apart from Maxwell, Swapnil Singh dismissed Saha, caught by Karn Sharma at short third man.
GT are currently placed seventh in the points table with four wins in nine matches. They lost to Delhi Capitals by four runs in their last outing.
On the other hand, RCB are placed last with just two wins in nine games. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs to snap their six-match losing streak. The Bengaluru-based franchise are still mathematically alive in the race to playoffs if they win all their remaining games.
