[Watch] Shubman Gill goes Go-Karting with Gujarat Titans teammates in Gandhinagar

Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill was spotted go-karting with his IPL teammates in Gandhinagar. The video of the GT captain enjoying the off-time with his teammates has surfaced on social media.

Gill impressed fans in his debut season as IPL captain. He led the Gujarat Titans to victories against top-ranked teams like the Rajasthan Royals, the SunRisers Hyderabad, and the Chennai Super Kings even though star fast bowler Mohammed Shami was unavailable.

Unfortunately for Gill, he could not lead the Titans to the playoffs this season. The Titans ended their tournament with two back-to-back washouts against the Kolkata Knight Riders and the SunRisers Hyderabad. After the season ended, a video of Gill enjoying go-karting with his teammates has surfaced.

In the caption of the clip, it was mentioned that Gill and some other members of the Gujarat Titans squad were at the Five 11 place in Gandhinagar. Gill could be seen wearing the protective equipment before enjoying the go-kart ride with his teammates.

Shubman Gill will soon head to the United States for T20 World Cup 2024

After a lot of new learnings in IPL 2024, Gill will head to the United States now. He is among the four reserves named in the Indian squad for T20 World Cup 2024. If any player from the main squad gets injured, Gill can receive an opportunity to represent India at a T20 World Cup for the first time in his career.

Gill was the Orange Cap winner in IPL 2023, but he could not perform with consistency in this IPL season. Hence, he missed out on a place in the main squad. Nevertheless, the GT skipper will keep himself ready to play for the nation if an opportunity arises.
