Nepal T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule

Nepal’s first match of T20 World Cup 2024 will be held against Netherlands at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 4 at 9:30 PM IST (11:00 AM Local Time).

Nepal Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024

The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will take place across the length and breadth of the Caribbean islands and the United States of America between June 02-29m

Each team will play a total of four Group matches in this 20-team event. The top two from each of the four groups will advance to the Super-8 stage, where eight teams will be split into two groups.

The top two teams from each group will move to the knockout stage. The semi-finals will take place on June 27, followed by the summit clash in Barbados on June 29.

Nepal have been drawn alongside former T20 World Champions Sri Lanka, a power packed South African team, the Giant Killers Netherlands, and the feisty Bangladesh in Group D.

The talented Asian team will open its campaign against the Netherlands in Dallas on June 04, 2024.

Their second match will be against former world champions Sri Lanka in Lauderhill on June 11. The caravan will then move to the Arnos Vale Ground in St. Vincent, where the Nepal Cricket Team will lock horns with South Africa and Bangladesh on June 15 and 17 respectively.

Nepal’s T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was announced on January 5 on Star Sports. The first match is against Netherlands on June 4, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on June 11. Both matches will happen in USA.

Then, Nepal will fly to Kingstown for their last two group stage matches. As per the T20 World Cup 2024 schedule, Nepal will play against South Africa on June 14, and their last match of the group stage is against Bangladesh on June 16. The two games will start at 7:30 PM IST (10:00 AM Local Time).

Nepal do not have much experience of playing against higher-ranked teams. Hence, Nepal will not be the favorites to progress to Super 8s. Still, Nepal’s T20 World Cup 2024 schedule can increase further if the team finishes in the Top 2 of the standings and makes it to the next round of the tournament.
