Vignesh Puthur is a professional cricket all-rounder who plays for the Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on March 02, 2001, in Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala to his parents, Sunil Kumar and K.P. Bindhu. His father is an autorickshaw driver and his mother is a homemaker. He completed his schooling and bachelor’s degree in Perinthalmanna and pursuing his Master’s degree. He started his cricket journey in Perinthalmanna and played age-group cricket for Kerala. Vignesh Puthur started his IPL journey with Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025. He was a net bowler for the MI Cape Town team in the SA20 League. SA20 League is a T20 league in South Africa, just like the IPL in India. He made his IPL debut on March 23, 2025, against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
