#1 David Warner (Australia)

David Warner has made refreshing comeback to international cricket and has defined consistency with his performances in this World Cup. This comes directly after his stunning IPL performance which left the fans in awe as he walked away with the Orange Cap after a clinical performance with the bat.
He scored 692 runs from 12 innings making 8 fifties and one hundred scoring at an astounding average of 69.20 and a good strike-rate of 143.86 almost leading the side to the playoffs all by himself.
The form has manifested into a raging fire with Warner striking the ball cleanly and making runs at will for the Aussies in the Cup. Australia's rampant advance in the tournament can be attributed to Mitchell Starc's fiery bowling and the brilliant opening partnership between Warner and skipper Aaron Finch.
Warner has made 638 runs in 9 innings averaging 79.75 including a mammoth 166 against Bangladesh with three hundreds and 3 fifties.
His batting will be put to the test as Australia take on arch rivals England in the second semi-final.
