Zeeshan Ansari is a professional cricket leg-break bowler from India who plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh (UP). He was born on December 16, 1999, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He made his First-Class (FC) debut for UP against Railways at Lucknow on October 06, 2017. He took 6 wickets in his debut game (3 wickets each in two innings). He made his T20 debut against Uttarakhand in Delhi on February 28, 2019. He was also a part of the India U-19 squad that reached the final in the 2016 edition.
Zeeshan Ansari’s IPL journey started in 2025 with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He went unsold in the IPL auctions from 2018 to 2022 and did not make it to the final list in the 2023 and 2024 seasons respectively. SRH picked him up during the IPL 2025 auction for INR 40 lakhs. He made his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 30, 2025, in Visakhapatnam He took three wickets in the game.
