The Apex Legends Urban Assault event, scheduled for release on April 23, 2024, at 10 am PT will be the highlight of Season 20. This event will present the customary 24-pack collection event, which players can complete to get an exclusive Mythic Heirloom skin for Octane.

Moreover, Apex Legends Urban Assault will also introduce new game modes, such as Three Strikes LTM and Apex Rumble. It's also worth noting that a new Golden Week might be on its way, as was recently suggested by leaker @HYPERMYSTx on X.

The new event will last two weeks, running from April 23, 2024, to May 7, 2024, which is also the start date of Season 21. This article explores all the major content updates in Apex Legends Urban Assault.

Apex Legends Urban Assault event: Three strikes LTM

The Three Strikes LTM will come out as part of the Apex Legends Urban Assault event on April 23, 2024, and will end on May 7, 2024. This mode offers intense action with a reduced revive time. Also, you're protected while downed and have the chance to respawn twice, fully equipped with the loadout and gear you had before you perished.

This allows you to parachute into high-intensity combat zones and play boldly without the immediate threat of being eliminated from the game. The fan-favorite mode will be released with some changes compared to its previous launch, which include:

  • Revive time reduced to 2.0 seconds.
  • Players will be revived with 100% health and 0% shields.
  • A new minimum guaranteed loot system that ensures that players respawn with a competitive version of their loadout and inventory.

Apex Legends Urban Assault event: Apex Rumble mode

Apex Rumble is an upcoming game mode in Apex Legends that will feature a separate playlist with Three Strikes and will require players to spend Legekens to enter the matches in what is sort of like a tournament system.

Gamers will start a Rumble game with a pre-made squad and will have to focus on scoring points by farming damage, kills, assists, and placements. Points earned in this mode will place players among their rivals on its leaderboard. However, the number of games in Apex Rumble will be limited, so players will have to make each one count.

The mode will have a tier system for rewards that will unlock as players progress on the leaderboard. The number of unlocked tiers will contribute to the bonuses you can obtain.

Apex Legends Urban Assault event: Golden Week store

The Golden Week store in the Apex Legends Urban Assault event can introduce a variety of new skins. This store is supposedly coming to the game on April 30, 2024, according to an X post by @HYPERMYSTx.

However, this cannot be confirmed, as Respawn Entertainment has not officially announced the event. Units such as Revenant, Caustic, and Ballistic are likely to get new Legendary cosmetics in the Golden Week shop.

Revenant's rumored skin appears white with distinctive purple accents. This cosmetic also gives the character glowing red eyes. His arms also feature linear details in the same accent hue.

On the other hand, Caustic may don an Oni Mask and belt, complemented by traditional clothing and arm wraps. Ballistic is likely to adhere to a similar theme but may showcase a striking new hairstyle and orange accents across his skin. He can also sport traditional attire, accompanied by warrior gloves adorned with beads on his arms and neck.

Aside from all the mentioned game modes and events, Apex Legends Urban Assault may bring various new items such as free reward trackers and badges.

HYPERMYSTx has also mentioned a Prestige Skin Challenge Boost that could increase the progress made on the Pristine Skin challenges by up to 50%, which will save players a lot of time and help to get them the customization quickly.

On top of that, the leaker has also mentioned the upcoming Legend Unlock Challenges in the game, but the exact date and specific unit involved haven't been mentioned.
