Alex Albon

Alexander Albon is a professional racing driver from Thailand. He currently races in the 2025 FIA World Formula 1 Championship. He was born in Westminster and raised in Suffolk. Albon is not new to the racing world; his father, Nigel Albon, was a racing driver who drove in the Porsche Carrera Asia Cup in 2007. Even his uncle, Mark Albon, is a former racing driver who drove in the International Formula 3000.

Alex Albon holds dual citizenship, as his mother is from Thailand. However, he drove in Formula 1 under the Thai flag. Born in 1996, Albon’s motorsport journey began with a successful karting career, followed by stints in Formula Renault, FIA Formula 3, GP3, and Formula 2. He made his Formula 1 debut in 2019 with Toro Rosso and was soon promoted to Red Bull Racing, where he achieved two podium finishes in 2020, becoming the first Thai driver to achieve this milestone. For the 2025 season, he is driving for the Williams F1 Team alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.

Alex Albon Sponsors

Alex Albon is among the few F1 drivers who have raced for most of their careers with junior teams. Most of his earnings come from racing and brand endorsements. Famous brands like Red Bull also endorsed Albon when he was promoted as a reserve driver in 2021.

Alex Albon’s sponsors for the 2025 Formula 1 are as follows:

Atlassian

Atlassian is the title sponsor of Williams Racing in 2025. It is an Australian software company known for products like Jira and Confluence. The team is officially branded as Atlassian Williams Racing, making Atlassian the most prominent partner for both the team and Albon.

LVMH

LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) is a global leader in luxury goods. As a Formula 1 partner, LVMH’s branding is visible across the paddock and on Williams Racing materials, contributing to the sport’s professional image.

MDM Design

MDM is an Australian design and creative agency that has worked with different racing teams to design the helmets of Formula 1 racers. The brand has done a sponsorship deal for the 2025 season with Albon. Under this sponsorship deal, the agency's logo will appear on Albon’s F1 helmet and his car. MDM Design has endorsed Alex Albon since 2019, when he joined the Williams Racing team after leaving Toro Rosso.

Monsoon Valley

Alex Albon became a brand ambassador for the first time with Monsoon Valley. In 2022, Mansson Valley endorsed Albon and estimated that he would receive an amount that would be added to his driver earnings. Monsoon Valley is a Thai wine and non-alcoholic grape juice company that appears on Albon's racing suits and F1 helmets.

PTT Lubricants

PTT Lubricants is one of the few brands that have supported Albon during his initial F1 career. They have been in sponsorship with Albon since his Formula 2 days. PTT Lubricants is a Thai lubricant and oil company that has made a new extended agreement to have a sponsorship deal with Albon for the 2025 season.

TGL Investment

For the 2025 season, Alex Albon, with TGL Investment, brought the majority of the stakes and invested in various projects. This was one of Albon's very first business venture deals outside of sponsorships and brand endorsements.

TMRW Sports

Albon and other sports athletes and players have invested in a joint venture business deal with TMRW Sports. It is a sports media and entertainment company that APEX Capital funds. This is Albon's second business venture rather than a racing sponsorship in 2025.
