There are 16 teams participating in the Durand Cup 2019, these teams are divided into 4 groups of 4, Army Red, Bengaluru, East Bengal and Jamshedpur are in Group A. Teams like ATK, Indian Navy, Mohammedan and Mohun Bagan are in Group B. Defending Champions Army Green, FC Goa, Chennai City and Real Kashmir are in Group C. I-League 2nd division Champions TRAU, Gokulam Kerala, Chennaiyin and Indian Air Force are in Group D.
Teams which top their group in the Durand Cup Points Table will qualify for the semi final of the tournament, which will be played on 20th of August 2019 and the winners of semi final games will play Durand Cup Final on 24th of August 2019.
