Ferran Corominas

The midfielder, who was part of the Spanish youth side, kick-started his career in the Indian Super League only last year and is already soaring up the charts. Having notched up over 250 appearances for clubs like Elche, Mallorca and Espanyol in the La Liga, Ferran Corominas stands at #1 in the ISL Top Scorers. Stealing the spotlight with the Golden Boot last season, the 35-year-old has a total of 34 goals to his name yet.

Sunil Chhetri

The poster boy of Indian football, Chhetri was expected to perform well in ISL and he surely delivered on that promise. He is the most capped and all-time top goal scorer for the Indian National Football team. He has an astounding twenty nine goals to his name already and there’s more to come. The AIFF Player of the Year (4 times) will be looking to make his presence felt in this season too. No doubt he is one of the Best Indian ISL Players.

Iain Hume

This Canadian Footballer might have been a virtual nobody compared to the other greats on this list but he has certainly lighted up the show at ISL. He is no doubt among the Top ISL Goal Machines and he has stats to back him up considering he has 29 goals to his name. In his first season in ISL he established himself as one of the best players in the league and subsequently got better showing his best in 2015 season with Atlético de Kolkata where he scored 11 goals off 16 matches.

Marcelinho

Marcelinho was the key player for FC Pune city with 8 goals and 7 assists last year. In 2016, he turned out for the Delhi Dynamos and took the league by storm landing him with the Golden Boot award with a score of 10 goals off 15 matches. Retaining Marcelinho in the Pune Franchise opened more gates for the Brazilian Footballer to soar up the charts.

Jeje Lalpekhlua

Jeje is one of those rare Indian footballers who is shining on the same pedestal as the foreign players. At 25, he is one of the best young players of the Indian National side having scored 7 goals from his last 7 international outings. One of the Best ISL Forwards, he has netted 24 goals yet. He is one of the best things about the Chennaiyin team and even won the Emerging Player of the League 2015 and ISL Fans’ Player of the month in December 2017.

Since the Indian Super League's inception in 2014, Indian as well as overseas striker have racked up the goals over the years and league continues to add goalscoring talent from across the globe. Ferran Corominas' incredible tally of 34 goals in two seasons puts him in pole position in the goalscorers chart and the likes of Sunil Chhetri and Iain Hume are not far behind.

For the forthcoming season of the ISL, Asamoah Gyan has been signed up by NorthEast United FC and the Ghanaian striker comes with a proven pedigree, having impressed in the 2010 edition of the FIFA World Cup and plying his trade with Sunderland in the Premier League, among others.

Indian skipper Sunil Chhetri is predictably the most decorated Indian goalscorer in the league, with 30 goals to his name. The forthcoming season of the ISL promises to be the most exciting season yet and the usual suspects look set to carry on from where they left off last season.
