Kovacic is on the radar of a host of clubs around Europe

North London rivals to fight it out for Matteo Kovacic

Diario Gol in its special report has written that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Real Madrid's box to box midfielder, Matteo Kovacic. It is said that Kovacic is being monitored by a host of clubs which include the likes of AS Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

Real Madrid do not seem to be interested in selling the Croatian but a bid of over £50 million might tempt them to sell the youngster.

Newcastle United to make a move for Lucas Leiva

Rafael Benitez brought Lucas Leiva to England 10 years ago and now seeing his Newcastle United side being promoted back to the Premier League on the first attempt, he is set to go back to his former player for help.

Northern Echo has reported that Newcastle are eyeing a move for Lucas with the Brazilian not featuring in Liverpool's future plans. The midfielder wants to stay in the Premier League for a year or two and this might be a perfect opportunity for him to stay in England.
