The Fortnite downtime today (June 18, 2025) is scheduled to begin at 4 am ET. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the downtime starts. The servers will be live again by 5:30 am ET. According to Epic Games, the Fortnite downtime today (June 18, 2025) will last approximately one and a half hours (90 minutes). The servers will go offline at 4:00 a.m. ET and will be back online by 5:30 a.m. ET. When servers are back online, an update will be provided via social channels, and a blog will be shared for supplementary information.

Note: The downtime could be extended due to unforeseen circumstances.

Content changes for Fortnite update v36.10

As mentioned, in official capacity, we know of three major content changes coming to the game; two are new modes, while the third is the reveal of the artist for Festival Season 9. The modes will be permanent fixtures and will give players playtime XP.

Unofficially, we know that the Fortnite-Squid Game collaboration could feature a Reload Map, and there's a mini-event lined up for later this season. There's no timeline in place, but based on information from reputed leakers, these will come to pass. We should get more details once Fortnite downtime begins.
