William John "Billy" Horschel, an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour, was born on December 7, 1986. He went to Bayside High School and then to the University of Florida, receiving All-American honors and playing college golf for the Florida Gators. He turned professional in 2009, winning his first professional win at the Columbia Championship on the eGolf Professional Tour. The following year, he joined the PGA Tour but earned his first PGA win at the 2013 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. In 2014, he won the Tour Championship, being the FedEx Cup winner that season.
