Joe Highsmith, an American professional golfer, was born in Lakewood, Washington. In 2025, he achieved his first PGA Tour and professional win at the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, shooting two 6-under 64s, the lowest weekend score in PGA National Resort’s Champion Course history. He became a professional in 2022 and joined the PGA Tour Canada. The following season, in 2023, he joined the Korn Ferry Tour. Highsmith earned his PGA Tour card for the 2024 season after placing tied for third in the Korn Ferry Championship.

Highsmith attended Bellarmine Preparatory School before moving to Pepperdine University from 2018 to 2022. He won four amateur championships from 2016 to 2019, including the 2019 Sahalee Players Championship and the 2017 WIAA 4A State Championship. From 2018 to 2021, he was also a four-time consecutive quarterfinalist in the U.S. Amateur. As of March 2025, his world ranking is No. 59, according to the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
