In 2024, the Myrtle Beach Classic, a new PGA Tour tournament backed by Visit Myrtle Beach, will make its Grand Strand debut in South Carolina from May 6–May 12.
A ceremony was held at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club to announce a four-year contract that established the tournament.
This full-field event will take place in 2024 as a part of the FedExCup regular season on the PGA Tour. In addition to $3.9 million in prize money, the tournament winner will receive 300 FedExCup points.
