The Open Championship Tickets

Last Modified Jul 3, 2024 10:29 GMT

One of the most anticipated golf tournaments of the year, the Open Championship or the British Open, is around the corner. Though it originally started in Scotland, at the Prestwick Golf Club in 1860, soon after that, the R&A made a change, and a small selection of British seaside links golf clubs took turns hosting the event.

The Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, and US Open are the other three major golf championships for men. The Open Championship is one of them. Since the PGA Championship was rescheduled for May, the Open became the fourth and last major event. It takes place in mid-July.

The Open is a tournament, as the name suggests, it's open for professional and amateur golfers who compete on the same greens! Unlike other tournaments, where professionals and amateurs compete differently. The current event is a professional competition in which a select group of elite amateurs worldwide participate by invitation or qualifying! This is one of those elite golf tournaments everyone wants to be a part of, either by being on the greens competing or being one of the spectators enjoying the best golfers competing against each other.

  1. Scorers:

Dates: 17.07.2024

Priced at £300, it is almost the same as the scorer's premium; the only difference is that spectators will not be provided with a table.

Two more different types of tickets are available, the Engravers and the Origin Suites. Unfortunately, those two are already out of stock and not being sold anymore; hence, not much information is available about them.
