Brian Harman is a professional left-handed golfer who was born on January 19, 1987. He's won five times as a professional, including a QBE Shootout, three on the PGA Tour, and one on his debut on the eGolf Professional Tour. However, the most notable win was at the 2023 Open Championship.

Harman became the third left-handed Open champion (joining Phil Mickelson and Bob Charles) and the fifth left-handed major champion (joining Mike Weir and Bubba Watson) in July when he defeated Bubba Watson and Mike Weir by six shots to win the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.

Harman took the lead in the tournament after shooting 65 in the second round, which was more than eight strokes better than the field's average. Prior to ultimately winning the Open by six strokes, he held a five-shot lead going into the final round. Harman had a 125-to-1 chance of winning, making him a surprise champion.

Brian Harman has had different clubs in his bag at different times. As of April 2024, he is using Titleist gear in his tournaments.

Brian Harman’s Driver

Harman carries a Titleist TSi2 driver set at nine degrees at the top of the bag. He gave the smaller Titleist TSi3 model a quick test, but the more forgiving TSi2 has returned and appears to be staying.

Additionally, compared to the preceding TS2, it has a more rounded toe, which significantly enhances its warm appearance. It was admired for its pleasing 'thud' sound, which created a strong acoustic that was heard through impact.

The Titleist TSi2 is extremely excellent as a whole because it expertly blends distance with forgiveness and consistency. The shaft on his model is a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ 5 S.

Brian Harman’s Fairways

Harman carries two Titleist models for the fairway woods. He decides to additionally carry a Titleist TS2 fairway club, which has a loft of 16.5 degrees, in addition to the initial model, a 13.5 degree Titleist TSi2 model.

Many Tour players have the TSi2 model in their bags since it launches nicely high and is incredibly forgiving across the face because of the deeper and lower CG. This makes it an extremely playable fairway wood for golfers of all skill levels.

Harman uses a Fujikura Speeder 661 Evolution II S shaft for his three-wood and a Fujikura Speeder 757 Evolution II S shaft for his five-wood.

Brian Harman’s Irons

When it comes to irons, Harman has three U500 utility irons, ranging from three to five irons. The rest of his irons, which range from a six-iron down to a pitching wedge, are Titleist 620 CBs. He uses True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts on all of his irons.

Brian Harman’s Wedges

Harman uses three Vokey wedge types, all of which are SM9s and have lofts of 50 and 54 degrees, with his third wedge having a loft of 60 degrees. Given the performance and quality it offers, the SM9 is a five-star design and should be used by the finest players in the world.

Brian Harman’s Putter

Harman uses a TaylorMade Spider putter; however, he has been using the OS Counter Balance model for a while.

It has a very generous and forgiving footprint, but recently, he has also been seen carrying an Odyssey Sabretooth putter, so it will be interesting to see which one gets the nod on a permanent basis.

Brian Harman’s Golf Ball

Golf Monthly rated the Pro V1, the golf ball that Harman uses, as one of the greatest premium balls available. Compared to the Pro V1x, it launches lower, spins less, and has excellent all-around performance overall. The Pro V1 feels slightly softer and has a lower peak height than the Pro V1x, which are two more significant variations between the two models.
