Rahmbo, aka Jon Rahm, a professional golfer, has won a total of 20 professional wins, with his most recent win being at the 2023 Masters Tournament. This was his second major title; the first was at the 2021 U.S. Open. He won 19 amateur tournaments between 2010 and 2016, after which he went pro and became the world's No. 1 golfer in 2020, as per the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) for 52 weeks.

The highlight of Jon Rahm's pro career would be switching to the LIV Golf League in December 2023, though he hasn't won an event at the league, individually. However, as the captain of the Legion VIII team, he won as a team at the 2024 LIV Golf Mayakoba. He is ranked No. 10 in the OWGR as of July 2024.

Jon Rahm's Hometown

Jon Rahm's hometown is Barrica, Biscay, in Spain.

The 29-year-old golfer was born to parents Edorta Rahm and Angela Rahm on November 10, 1994. El Pais, a Spanish daily, reports that his mother, Angela, is a midwife, while his father, Edorta, works in the gasoline industry. Jon also has an elder brother, Eriz Rahm, who works as a set designer for the theater in Bilbao, Spain's Basque Country, in the Palacio Euskalduna.

After attending the 1997 Ryder Cup in Valderrama, Rahm's father, who enjoyed hiking and adventure sports, became interested in golf, and the whole Rahm family started taking lessons to learn the game. Edorta said that he used to take Jon to Alava's Larrabea Golf Club to play when he was a boy, but as parents, Edorta and Angela never forced Jon to play golf.

The Spanish teams that took home the 2011 European Boys' Team Championship included Jon Rahm, who was 17 years old at the time. Given that his father was adamant that education was crucial, he went to Arizona State University and played college golf.

In 2015, he topped the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) for 60 weeks (non-consecutively), setting an all-time record. Furthermore, he won the 2015 Mark H. McCormack medal for the latter reason, which resulted in exemptions to the 2016 U.S. Open and Open Championship. He finished tied for 23rd place as a low amateur in the former event and 59th place as a professional in the latter.
