While Rockstar Games has yet to officially reveal the GTA 6 online multiplayer version, the community is expecting its debut immediately after the release of the base game. The Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks of September 2022 also hinted at a multiplayer mode in development. However, not much information was able to be extracted from it as the clip was very short. Nonetheless, it goes without saying that the community expects to see some major improvements in the next entry in the series.

This article lists five features that Rockstar Games should not include in the GTA 6 online multiplayer version.

5 features that should not be a part of the GTA 6 online multiplayer version

1) Mandatory multi-player missions

There are many missions in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online that require you to have at least one more player with you to start. Although it is a multiplayer game, a significant majority of the player base prefers playing solo. However, such missions prevent them from enjoying the game to its full potential.

Therefore, Rockstar Games should reduce the number of missions in GTA 6 Online that require multiple players. All missions from the upcoming game should be playable alone so that everyone can enjoy the game without having to interact with strangers online. The current multiplayer game is gradually improving in this aspect, and this trend will likely carry over to the next game as well.

2) Aimbot NPCs

Aimbot NPCs are one of the major problems fans want to get fixed in GTA 6 Online multiplayer. Rockstar Games provided ridiculous accuracy to random enemy NPCs that can kill you from miles away with pinpoint accuracy.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re standing still, running, flying, or inside a vehicle, the aimbot NPCs can hit you with a simple pistol from yards away. The shooting mechanism for NPCs is imbalanced, and it is one of the first things that should be fixed in GTA 6 Online.

3) Crazy drivers

The NPCs in Grand Theft Auto Online are proven to drive erratically whenever you’re near them. While the Story Mode drivers are more conscientious, the online drivers can be unpredictable. Whenever you try to pass them with a fast car in GTA Online, they’ll deliberately try to crash into you.

The NPC drivers make turns suddenly, change lanes, and stop in front of your car without any reason. It is one of the most frustrating things about driving in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. Rockstar Games should fix this issue in GTA 6 Online and make the roads safer for players.

4) Too many loading screens

One of the main reasons why the current multiplayer gameplay feels slow is that it has way too many loading screens. While the mission loading screens are somewhat bearable, they become irritating whenever you enter or exit your businesses in Grand Theft Auto Online.

The GTA 6 Online mode should reduce the number of loading screens and offer players a seamless entry and exit experience similar to Story Mode. The community now frequently complains that a majority of the Grand Theft Auto Online experience is starring at black screens, and this should definitely be remedied in GTA 6.

5) Unnecessary alert systems

Grand Theft Auto Online has too many alerts and notifications bothering players at inconvenient times. However, the most despised one is when Rockstar Games deliberately alerts other players about your activities and encourages them to disrupt your progress.

It is one of the most requested features that should be removed in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online, and GTA 6 should also ditch this concept. The unnecessary alert system is one of the main reasons why most players do not play in public lobbies anymore in 2024.
