Despite there not being any GTA 5 update in quite some time, fans still adore the story and the protagonist trio of the game. In a recent interview with Streamily, all three voice actors shared their thoughts about the game. Steven Ogg, the voice actor for Trevor Phillips, mentioned the canceled GTA 5 DLC, which received strong reactions from the community.

One such fan stated:

"I despise GTA Online.."

Others agreed and stated how Rockstar Games focused too much on GTA Online and sidelined the single-player mode completely. The recent GTA 5 source code leak revealed the canceled DLCs for the campaign, leading to outrage among players.

Fans share their frustration after Steven Ogg shares insight about the canceled GTA 5 update DLC

While the community had already shared their contempt towards Rockstar Games over the canceled GTA 5 update DLCs, the spite reemerged after the recent interview with Steven Ogg and other voice actors. According to him, the studio had planned to release an Agent Trevor DLC, but it was scrapped midway.

This has again led to rage among fans who wanted to see the psychotic GTA protagonist in action. The anger is mainly directed at GTA Online, the multiplayer mode of the game, which offers more content and receives constant updates from Rockstar Games. The unreleased GTA 5 update was supposed to show Trevor as an undercover agent working for FIB.

Steven Ogg mentioned how Rockstar Games had already shot some of the content but decided to drop the project midway. The other voice actors, Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno, also shared how it would be cool for all three of the protagonists to receive individual DLCs for the single-player mode of the game.

While fans still expect Rockstar Games to drop a Micheal DLC for GTA Online in the future, there is little hope for a GTA 5 update revolving around Trevor Phillips. However, since GTA 5 and GTA Online were the two biggest competitors to other video games in 2023, there is hope that the studio might plan to release a DLC revolving around the protagonist before GTA 6's eventual launch.

Since nothing has been confirmed, fans are advised to take the information with a pinch of salt.
