Diamonds can be a Minecraft player's best friend, but finding them can make the process pretty tricky. There are more than a few ways to find them, including mining and loot chests, and each game world has multiple sources of diamonds to be found. However, if players use specific world seeds, they can find the precious gems a little easier than if they continue to search random worlds.

These Minecraft seeds offer diamonds up in many different ways, but they should make the search much more abridged compared to random world seeds. It would be impossible to find every seed that is perfect for finding diamonds given the fact that world seeds are virtually endless. But there are certainly some notable examples worth checking out right now.

Blacksmith shops can be incredibly helpful for finding diamonds in Minecraft thanks to the loot chests they contain. This Bedrock Edition seed contains a village close to spawn at (X: 104, Z: -280) with two blacksmith shops inside. Though the loot inside these shops randomizes each time the seed generates, there's a chance players can snag some quick diamonds just by paying the shops a visit.

In the event that they don't find the gems they're looking for by venturing into the village, they can head to (X: 580, Y: 66, Z: -294) to find a cave with some extra to mine.

2) Diamonds in deep dark caves (-1824611495, Java)

Mining is certainly one of the most direct ways to get diamonds in Minecraft if players don't want to trifle with villages and randomized loot chests. This Java Edition seed certainly has a sizable ore vein that should provide plenty of gems, but they will have to do some digging.

From the spawn point, fans will have to head to approximately (X: -200, Y: -13, Z: -969) to find the diamond ore vein in question. However, this route will take them mining into a cliff facing adjacent to water, so they may want to bring a bucket along to clear out the excess water.

Additionally, this ore vein is found in the deep dark biome, and there's a small drop if players are digging straight down, which is something to keep in mind.

3) Stony village with blacksmith (-269445888429083309, Bedrock)

If things go right for Minecraft fans in this Bedrock Edition seed, they should be able to pick up easy diamonds with almost zero effort. They will begin in a village with a blacksmith shop that may have diamonds in its loot chest. Additionally, as fans explore the surrounding village, they'll notice an exposed loot chest near a horse corral that may also have diamonds and even a Heart of the Sea.

They likely won't be flooded with diamonds after booting up this seed, but it should provide more than a few to help get them started, with some extra goodies thrown in for good measure.

4) Diamonds hidden under lava (-2178529442151342009 Java)

Getting to the diamond ore vein in this Minecraft Java seed won't be easy, but may be worth the effort for some players. They'll start at the approximate coordinates (X: -270, Z: -370), but the vein lays only a few hundred blocks away at (X: -265, Y: -58, Z: -136).

The only catch is that the vein is placed underneath a lava pit, so players may have to get creative to clear out the lava and get to the rich diamond stock underneath. Since it might take a while to get to, fans may also want to take some time to get a Fortune enchantment on their pickaxe to maximize their diamond income once they finally start breaking the ore blocks.

If Minecraft players love easy access to diamonds via blacksmith shops, then this Bedrock Edition can be incredibly helpful. They will spawn on a small island with a village and a jungle biome, and this village has a whopping four blacksmith shops that can potentially hold diamonds.

Even better, a nearby fissure on the village's perimeter also leads into a sizable cave with more of the gems. This cluster of ore can be found at (X: 832, Y: -38, Z: -351) and should help supplement players' income.

If they don't get the loot they wanted on the first try, they can always re-generate this seed and give it another shot.

Though they tend to get overlooked, finding fossils underground can be a fantastic way to snag some diamonds in Minecraft. Although they’re composed of several bone blocks, fossils can occasionally include diamond ore encrusted within them. As long as players have a pickaxe to break the ore, this seed offers four fossils a short distance from the spawn that can offer quick diamonds. They can be found at the following coordinates:

  • X: -35 Y: -54 Z: 2
  • X: 6 Y: -47 Z: 14
  • X: -136 Y: -54 Z: -64
  • X: -26 Y: -54 Z: 68

Mining for diamond ore is still a completely viable way to collect diamonds in Minecraft, and sometimes players stumble upon a particularly large chunk of ore that can result in massive diamond yields. This seed on Bedrock Edition may be one such example, as players can navigate (or teleport) to (X: -232 Y: -31 Z: 224) to find a treasure trove of diamond ore and even a little raw gold and lapis lazuli awaiting them.

To maximize diamond profits, it’s highly advised that players use a Fortune-enchanted pickaxe, which will vastly increase the dropped diamonds with each broken ore block.

8) Below the Surface (39125021763781630, Java)

In addition to having a nice village within walking distance of the spawn, players will find something much better with regards to diamonds not far away. If players head to roughly (X: -33 Z: 14) and dig downward to Y= -51, players should find an ore vein that’s packed to the gills with diamonds. With an unenchanted pickaxe, fans should be able to extract at least 20 diamonds minimum.

Bringing along a Fortune-enchanted pickaxe would increase these yields astronomically, setting players up with enough diamonds to craft several blocks and items and likely still have a few gems leftover.

9) Quick Diamonds (3057310577815726585, Java)

Though this Minecraft seed doesn’t have the most diamonds that players have likely ever seen, the available diamonds are quite easy to get to. From the spawn point can have a quick jaunt or teleport command to (X: 90 Z: -250) and then dig down to Y= -31, where they’ll find a few free diamond ore blocks to pick apart.

As a bonus, fans can head back above ground and visit a couple of nearby sights including a pillager outpost near a cherry grove biome at (X: -416 Z: 176) and a village at (X: 80 Z: -256).

10) All in Abundance (10390129460128989, Bedrock)

Starting off near a village in Minecraft is nice, especially when it has a ruined Nether portal nearby and the village also has a stronghold beneath it However, this seed also provides the benefit of having multiple diamond ore veins remarkably close to the village. Once players snag themselves an iron pickaxe (which can be found in blacksmith chests in the village, they can head to the following coordinates:

  • X: 670 Y: -56 Z: -244
  • X: 670 Y: 0 Z: -252
  • X: 654 Y: -24 Z: -257
  • X: 652 Y: -44 Z: -253
  • X: 707 Y: -56 Z: -184

There’s a lot to appreciate about this Java Edition seed, particularly its close-knit desert island setting and easy village access. However, this seed’s spawn point also has an abandoned mineshaft running underneath it, and if players know where to look, they can find roughly six diamonds with an unenchanted tool in no time at all.

From the spawn point, all players need to do is walk to (X: 140 Z: 178) and begin digging downward. At Y= -11, they’ll find the abandoned mineshaft, but digging deeper to Y= -16 will yield the small diamond ore vein. It admittedly doesn’t get a player too many diamonds, but it’s one of the quickest means to access them in a seed.

12) Quite the Haul (-2050111886749028231, Bedrock)

Though this Minecraft Bedrock seed likely doesn’t seem like much above ground, it’s what lies deep beneath the surface that counts. Specifically, fans should navigate to (X: 245 Y: -42 Z: -804) to find a pretty large diamond ore vein that should reward them with a minimum of 18 diamonds with the potential for more based on enchantments.

If that’s not enough loot for players, they can always head topside and stop over at (X: 24 Z: 72) for a ruined Nether portal and (X: 232 Z: -312) for a village filled with free goodies as well.

13) As Easy as It Gets (44647503765050661, Bedrock)

As far as Minecraft seeds that have incredibly easy access to diamonds go, this example has to be a pretty great one. Players spawn directly in front of a village, containing a blacksmith shop that should have six diamonds simply sitting within a chest as well as five obsidian blocks. Once players snag their diamonds and use them however they see fit, they can check out the ruined portal nearby at (X: 152 Z: 888) and complete it.

Quick access to diamonds and quick access to the Nether, what’s not to like about this Minecraft Bedrock seed?

From the start of this Minecraft seed, players will find themselves right in the perimeter of a village with several blacksmith shops. Though these shops didn’t offer any diamonds in testing, they did offer a ton of iron and obsidian, and the former can be used to craft a few pickaxes. Once that’s taken care of, players can head to the following coordinates to find several access points to mine some diamonds:

  • X: 151 Y: -15 Z: 28
  • X: 153 Y: -25 Z: 24
  • X: 809 Y: -31 Z: 130 (Fossil)
  • X: 1084 Y: -38 Z: 116

Though this seed could certainly be useful for speedrunning to a certain degree, it also does a great job at providing incredibly easy diamonds in Minecraft Bedrock. Players spawn within a village with a lone blacksmith shop, which should contain six diamonds when opened. While this isn’t a fantastic haul akin to ore mining, it’s a path of least resistance for starting out with diamond gear.

Once fans have their diamond goodies, they can find several additional structures worth exploring including a ruined Nether portal at (X: 147 Y: 72 Z: 878), a second village at (X: -189 Y: 95 Z: 1279), and a stronghold at (X: 177
