In Dune Awakening, you're sent to Arrakis to find where the Fremen have disappeared. They are nowhere to be seen, but the technology they've developed is still available for you to use. One macabre piece of tech they created is called the Fremen Deathstill.
If you're wondering what it does, you're in for a shock. With Water being scarce on Arrakis, not a single drop of liquid goes to waste. This is where the Fremen Deathstill comes into use. It is a complex device capable of extracting Water from corpses. Here's everything you need to know about it.
How to get the Fremen Deathstill in Dune Awakening

Since this technology is rare, you must complete all Trials of Aql to unlock it. This will undoubtedly take a while, and in the meantime, Windtraps will be the best option if you need access to large quantities of Water.
Once you complete the final Trial of Aql, you can unlock the ability to build the Fremen Deathstill by learning its schematic (it will not cost any Intel). When you're ready to build the device, you must have the Construction Tool equipped and the following resources at your disposal:
- Steel Ingot (x60)
- Silicone Block (x28)
- Complex Machinery (x32)
You'll also need Power (x200) to ensure that the tech runs without a hitch, and you'll need to give it Time (60 minutes) to process the Blood into Water. As mentioned earlier, the device is very macabre, but you're already accustomed to harvesting Water by draining bodies of Blood and purifying it for drinking. This should honestly not affect you in the least.
How to use a Fremen Deathstill in Dune Awakening

To use this device, you'll need bodies — lots of them. Thankfully, Arrakis has no shortage of enemies you can dispatch, wrap up, and haul back to base for processing. Once you defeat a foe, toss them into your Buggy for storage, and bring them back.

Once at your base, toss the corpse onto the Fremen Deathstill, and in an hour, you will get Water that's safe for consumption. Don't feel guilty about extracting Water from the fallen in Dune Awakening. Since they can't use the resource anyway, those alive should.
