Early Life and Career

Rachel Wray started her career as a dancer in Arkansas before getting selected as a cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs and thus resettling in Kansas.

Wray started working out at Title Boxing Club and took private lessons to improve her skill. She eventually started sparring and decided to leave her job as a cheerleader to focus on becoming a fighter.

Rachel Wray started her MMA training under Josh Koscheck at the UFC gym in Fayetteville. She made her amateur debut in 2012 against Ashleigh Tillman at TBC: Ultimate Blue Corner Battles 16. She won the fight via TKO(punches) in the second round and subsequently won her next fight at TBC 18 via TKO(punches).

Rachel then fought Nadia Nixon at TBC 19 and lost for the first time in MMA as Nadia dominated her and scored a unanimous decision. She then fought Jamie Clinton at AMF 2 and lost inside the first minute of the fight via technical submission(Guillotine Choke).

Rachel was scheduled to make her professional debut in 2015 against Rachel Cummins but, the bout got canceled as Wray has not competed in MMA ever since,
