Raquel Pennington is a prominent professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2012, Pennington has taken part in 24 professional fights and is still an active fighter on the promotion's roster. She also reigns as the current women's bantamweight champion of the promotion.


Raquel Pennington made her debut in 2012 against Kim Couture at MFP: Vengeance. She delivered an impressive second-round KO in the bout and won the fight, starting her professional career with a win. Raquel Pennington suffered the first loss of her professional career in her second fight when she faced Tori Adams at RMBB/TB: A Champion's Quest in 2012. Adams defeated her by a unanimous decision.
