The Pokemon GO Dazzling Dream event marks the return of numerous Fairy-type Pokemon, of which a few are proficient in the PvP battle format. Monsters with this elemental typing are super-effective against Dark, Fighting, and Dragon-type moves but are weak against Poison and Steel-type attacks. The creatures you will catch in this event can help you win battles. While some are great at roles like Lead and Switch, others are good at Closer.

The mobile game's main PvP format, the GO Battle League, is divided into three modes: Great, Ultra, and Master League. In this list, we will look at some of the Pokemon, their ideal teammates, and how to get them during the event.

1) Great League - Azumarill

Azumarill is a great Pokemon to add to your GO Great League battle unit. The creature is a dual Water and Fairy-type Pokemon, meaning it is weak to Electric, Grass, and Poison-type attacks and resists Dragon, Bug, Dark, Fighting, Fire, Ice, and Water-type moves. It accesses Bubble and Rock Smash as its Fast Attacks, and its Charged Attacks options are Ice Beam, Play Rough, and Hyrdo Pump.

What makes Azumarill a robust contender for PvP fights is its access to consistent moves, incredible tank power, and capability to bait opponents to use shields. Additionally, it performs better when used as a Lead or a Closer. The job of a Lead in Pokemon GO is to figure out the opponent's strength, the Pokemon they use, the movesets they reveal, and many more.

Best team:

  • Lickitung
  • Cresselia
  • Medicham
  • Stunfisk (Galarian)
  • Charjabug

Like Azumarill, Wigglytuff is a good PvP performer suitable for the Great League format. The critter is a dual Normal and Fairy-type Pokemon. Due to its typing, it takes less damage from Dragon, Ghost, Bug, and Dark-type moves, and only Poison and Steel-type attacks can significantly damage it. As a result, this monster has an advantage when facing Dragon and Dark-type attacks. Note that the chosen team for Wigglytuff will further determine how it can perform in the league.

Wigglytuff’s Fast Moves include Pound, Fient Attack, and Charm. For the Charged Moves, it uses Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, Disarming Voice, Dazzling Gleam, Playrough, and Icy Wind.

Best team:

  • Lickitung
  • Swampert
  • Medicham
  • Whiscash
  • Cresselia

Unlike Pokemon GO’s Great and Ultra Leagues, the Master League is an open PvP battle format with no limitations on CP. In this league, powerful monsters will challenge your team, and weak ones cannot win against them. So, you will need Pocket Monsters like Florges to have the upper hand.

Since Florges is best suited to this league, you should maximize its battle power to take advantage. When the creature reaches Level 50, its Combat Power increases to 3657, Attack to 212, Defense to 244, and Stamina to 186.

When it comes to Fast Moves, Florges can use Vine Whip, Razor Leaf, Tackle, and Fairy Wind. Its Charged Moves include Petal Blizzard, Disarming Voice, Moon Blast, and Psychic.

Best unit:

  • Giratina (Altered)
  • Ho-Oh
  • Kyogre
  • Groudon
  • Palkia

Togekiss is a highly sought-after Fairy-type Pokemon because of its power, movesets, and design. For the Master League format, it is best to increase its level. At Level 50, its Combat Power is 3767, Attack is 225, Defense is 217, and Stamina is 198.

In the Master League, you can use Togeskiss as a Closer and let its teammates take the Lead and Switch roles. You would not want your unit to mess up strategies in this league since a small mistake can cost you the win.

Togekiss can use different Pokemon GO Charged Moves, including Flame Thrower, Aerial Ace, Ancient Power, Dazzling Gleam, and Aura Sphere. Its Fast Moves comprise Air Slash, Hidden Power, and Charm. This Pokemon inflicts heavy damage with its Fast Moves, which can pressure the opponent to use its Shield or Switches. Although it can't quickly reach its Pokemon GO Charged Moves, Togekiss can damage significantly with its Fast Moves.

Best team:

  • Giratina (Altered)
  • Groudon
  • Ho-Oh
  • Kyogre
  • Palkia

Carbink is one of the top critters in Pokemon GO Great League's meta. With this Rock and Fairy-type Pocket Monster, your team can go toe-to-toe against strong fighters in this format. It’s defensively so strong that its defense stat equals that of the Mythical Pokemon Diancie.

While Carbink's Fast Moves include Tackle and Rock Throw, its Charged Moves comprise Rock Slide, Power Gem, and Moonblast. That said, Carbink can take the role of Lead or Closer. So, by putting it in a position where it can excel, you can get the best out of its capabilities.

Thanks to its bulky nature, the creature can absorb heavy damage and still stand tall. You should know Carbink is weak to Steel, Grass, Ground, and Water-type moves, and it withstands Dragon, Dark, Bug, Fire, Flying, and Normal-type attacks. Considering that, here is the ideal team for the creature in the Pokemon GO Great League.
