Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 Timed Research: Shore Thing Tasks and Rewards

The Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 Timed Research is available to trainers for free during the eponymous event. It is a branching questline with trainers either picking up an Alolan Vulpix or a Shadow Vulpix. Apart from these two Pokemon, one can get various in-game resources and Sandygast encounters as rewards.

How to complete Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 Timed Research

The tasks and rewards are as follows:

Catch 10 Fire- or Ice-type Pokemon - 10x Great Ball
Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms - Bergmite encounter
Explore 2 km - Sandygast encounter
Rewards: 1000x Stardust, 1000 XP

You will have to choose between Spark (Alolan Vulpix encounter) and Sierra (Shadow Vulpix encounter).
