Aaron Russell is an American professional volleyball player, who fulfills the position of an outsider hitter in his tournaments. He was born on June 4, 1993, in Arbutus, Maryland, US. The Maryland native has played in various prestigious tournaments and has also won multiple medals in them. Some of his participations include the Olympic Games, FIVB World Championship, FIVB World Cup, FIVB Nations League, FIVB World League, and the NORCECA Championships.
He won two golds in the FIVB World Cup in 2015 Japan and 2023 Japan, and along with this, he won one bronze medal in the 2019 iteration of the championship. In the FIVB Nations League, he grabbed three silver medals in the 2019, 2022, and 2023 iterations of the event. He also won a bronze medal in the League in 2018 Lille. He dominated at the NORCECA Championship, where he won two gold medals in 2017 and 2023. Along with this, Russell was also the MVP of the Italian Super Cup. The volleyball player won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics and he also competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics with the team.
