
Alysa Liu is a figure skater from the United States. At the age of five, she took up skating. At the 2018 Asian Open, she became the third American woman to land a triple Axel in a major competition and the youngest skater in history.
At the age of 13, Liu became the youngest woman to win a U.S. Championship and the first American woman to land three triple Axels in a single competition. As the first American woman to make a quadruple leap in a competition, she also made history during the 2019 Junior Grand Prix USA with a quad Lutz.

Alysa Liu has won 2 medals in the World Championships and 3 medals in the World Championships as a senior athlete. However, the figure skater hasn't opened her account in the Olympics as of July 2025. Since 2012 and 2013, Liu has been the first female to win two U.S. titles in a row, following Ashley Wagner. In addition, she is the first female to win both the junior and senior titles in the same year since Mirai Nagasu in 2008.
