Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Brandon McNulty is an American cyclist, who emerged victorious from the start of his career. He won almost every mountain bike race that he entered while racing in the 11-12 junior categories. He has competed in various Grand Tours, Stage races, One-day races and Classics, World Championships, and others. The cyclist has now geared up for his second Olympics. McNulty has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics and will be competing in both the road race and the time trial race of this year’s Summer Games.

His first mountain bike race was at the age of 8 and he made the shift to road when he was 12 years old. His interest in cycling emerged when he was taken out by his father for riding on dirt roads beside their house. From then to today, McNulty has come a long way. He has already competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where he finished sixth in the men’s road race and also competed in the Individual time trial. Not just the Olympics, McNulty also showcased his talent at the World Championships, where he earned a total of four medals, of which, one was gold (2016 - men’s Individual time trial), one silver (2017 - men’s Individual time trial), and two bronze medals (2015 men’s individual time trial, 2019- men’s individual time trial).

McNulty, whose height is 183 cm, turned professional in 2017 and was offered multiple offers after turning pro, but the Phoenix native chose to ride with the American UCI Continental team Rally Cycling. Some of his notable wins in 2024 are the National Time Trial Championships, the GP Miguel Indurain, and the stage race - Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana.
