Dana Lynn Rettke is an American professional volleyball player. Born on January 21, 1999, in Riverside, Illinois, she stands at an impressive height of 6 feet 8 inches.

Dana played college volleyball at the University of Wisconsin from 2017 to 2021, where she made a significant impact. After a successful college career, she joined the Italian club Vero Volley Milano in 2022. She joined the United States national team and contributed to their gold medal at the 2019 FIVB Nations League in China.

In June 2024, Dana earned a spot in the U.S. women's volleyball team for the 2024 Summer Olympics. She will join veteran players who previously won gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Dana, who was born to Kathy and John Rettke, has a sister Leah.

Despite receiving recruiting interest from several Big Ten basketball programs, Dana Rettke decided to focus on volleyball. She slowly excelled in the sport and earned multiple honors including Illinois Player of the Year and multiple All-American.

She majored in business marketing at the University of Wisconsin, where she was an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
