Vinson Chiu is an American badminton player. He was born on August 8, 1998, in Southern California, U.S. He is right-handed and competes in both men's and mixed doubles events. As of May 21, 2024, Chiu's highest ranking in men's doubles is 41, which he achieved with his partner Joshua Yuan. His highest ranking in mixed doubles is 29, achieved with his partner Jennie Gai on July 18, 2023. Currently, he is ranked 41 in men's doubles with Joshua Yuan and 31 in mixed doubles with Jennie Gai.

Chiu won a silver medal in men's doubles with Joshua Yuan at the 2022 Pan Am Championships. Additionally, he earned a silver and a bronze medal at the 2016 Pan Am Junior Championships in boys' doubles and mixed doubles, respectively. In mixed doubles, Chiu currently plays with Jennie Gai. They won their first title together at the Mexican International Challenge in 2021 and secured a silver medal in mixed doubles at the 2023 Pan American Games. Chiu also partnered with Indonesian badminton legend Tony Gunawan to win the U.S. International in 2017.

In the Pan Am Championships, Chiu earned a silver medal in men's doubles in 2022 with Joshua Yuan, facing Mexico's Job Castillo and Luis Montoya. They were narrowly defeated with scores of 20–22, 8–11r. In 2023, Chiu and Yuan won a bronze medal in Kingston, Jamaica, after a tough match against Canada's Kevin Lee and Ty Alexander Lindeman, with scores of 21–17, and 23–21. The following year, in Guatemala City, Chiu and Yuan claimed another bronze medal in men's doubles, facing Canada's Adam Dong and Nyl Yakura, finishing with scores of 15–21, 21–19, and 17–21. Additionally, in 2024, Chiu partnered with Jennie Gai and won a silver medal in mixed doubles after competing against fellow Americans Presley Smith and Allison Lee, with scores of 21–15, 15–21, and 14–21.

Chiu's achievements extend to the BWF International Challenge/Series, where he has won several titles. In men's doubles, he notably won the 2017 U.S. International with Indonesian legend Tony Gunawan and the 2021 Mexican International with Enrico Asuncion.
