Serena Deeb, a skilled wrestler of American descent, is presently affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Her most well-known roles include those from her time in the WWE developmental territory Extreme, when she appeared on the ECW brand, and her time with Florida Championship Wrestling, where she wrestled under the ring name Serena. Deeb also competed in Shimmer Women Athletes and Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she was a six-time Women's Champion.

Serena made her main roster WWE debut in January 2010 as a member in the audience desperate to follow in CM Punk's "Straight Edge" footsteps. She joined the Straight Edge Society, committing to the lifestyle and getting her head shaved as part of the initiation. Serena primarily served as a villainous valet for Punk and Luke Gallows. Her lone WWE match occurred on August 20, teaming with Gallows to defeat Big Show and Kelly Kelly in a mixed tag team bout on SmackDown. However, she was released from the company on the same day the program aired, just three days after it was taped.

Serena Deeb’s Current Finisher

Serenity Lock: ( October 6, 2021 - Present)

The Serenity Lock, also known as the High Angle Calf Hold, is a wrestling submission move employed by Serena Deeb as her finisher. In this technique, Deeb grabs her opponent's arm behind their back with her own leg while simultaneously lifting one of the opponent's legs upwards. The hold effectively compresses the legs, flexes the spine, and stretches the abdomen of the opponent.

Serena Deeb's Earlier Finishers

In the initial stages of wrestling journey, Serena Deeb utilized a variety of finishing moves, which are mentioned below.

  • Detox: ( September 21, 2020 - October 5, 2021)

Detox is one type of Elevated Double Underhook Facebuster. To execute this move, Serena adeptly positions her opponent, maneuvering them into a vulnerable stance with their head nestled between her legs. With precise timing and control, she secures a double underhook on her adversary before executing either a kneeling or sitout facebuster, driving home the impact of her dominance in the ring.

  • Fireman's Carry Gutbuster: ( January 22, 2010 - August 27, 2010)

Fireman's carry gutbuster is the most common version of the elevated gutbuster. Serena Deeb was executing this move in WWE by lifting her opponent onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry position. Then, she drops to one knee while simultaneously hoisting the opponent over her head, causing them to land on her exposed knee.

  • Mancini Code: ( July 15, 2009 - July 1, 2010)

The Mancini Code is an inverted variation of the front powerslam. Serena Deeb employs this finishing move by first reaching between the opponent's legs with their stronger arm and then reaching around the opponent's back from the same side with their weaker arm. Subsequently, Deeb lifts the opponent over their shoulder and falls forward, slamming the opponent against the mat back-first.
