He is a utility player for the Cleveland Guardians in Major League Baseball (MLB), as of January 2025. Fry made his MLB debut for the Cleveland Guardians on May 1, 2023. He earned a spot in MLB All-Star in 2024.

Before his professional career, Fry attended Grapevine High School in Texas and played college baseball at Northwestern State University. The Milwaukee Brewers drafted him in the seventh round of the 2018 MLB Draft and traded him to the Cleveland Guardians in 2022.
