Harris was rated as the Braves' top prospect and the 63rd-best prospect in Minor League Baseball for the 2022 season. Harris made his major league debut on May 28, 2022. In the same game, he recorded his first hit—a single—and scored his first run. In 2022, Harris won the National League Rookie of the Year award.
