Scott A. Barlow, nicknamed “Scoots McGoots”, is a member of the Cincinnati Reds in MLB as of May 2025. Hailing from New London, Connecticut, United States, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers with the #194th overall pick in the 2011 MLB Draft. He played in the minor leagues for the team. Barl eventually made his MLB debut for the Kansas City Royals on April 30, 2018. After spending six years with the team, he played for a year with the San Diego Padres before joining the Cleveland Guardians in 2024.
