What is Stephen Vogt’s Walk-Up Song?

Stephen Vogt has used “Comatose” by Skillet as his walk-up song throughout his career as an MLB player. Skillet is notable for being a popular American Christian rock band and “Comatose” is one of the songs found in their sixth studio album, also named Comatose, released in 2006.

The Oakland Athletics welcomed Stephen Vogt in his first game as the manager of the Cleveland Guardians by playing the walk-up song in March 2024 as per Clutchpoints. Regarding the incident, Stephen Vogt revealed (via Clutchpoints):

“That was so cool. That was a nice touch from the A's, to throw up the walk-up song for our team. The Oakland A's are such a class place, they've always treated me and my family phenomenally. That was just one last touch that meant a lot to me.”

Seth Morrison, the lead guitarist of Skillet, pitched to Stephen Vogt during a game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Cincinnati Reds in September 2024. He also congratulated Vogt for making it to the playoffs as a first-time manager. He posted the images of the event on his official Facebook profile.
