Vladimir Guerrero Jr., also known as “El K”, is a first baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on March 16, 1999, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is the son of baseball Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr., who used to play for the Montreal Expos. He made his MLB debut on April 26, 2019, for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Since his debut, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has gone on to win numerous awards in his career, including winning the Silver Slugger Award in 2021, the AL Hank Aaron Award in 2021, and being a member of the All-MLB First Team. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also became the MLB home run leader in 2021. In 2022, he won the Golden Glove Award. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. notched up a batting average of .287 with 168 home runs, 535 RBI, 20 stolen bases, .365 OBP, and .861 OPS in the regular season throughout his career, as of May 2025.
