Jahmal Banks is a wide receiver for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He joined the college football team in January 2024 after spending four seasons at Wake Forest. Out of the nine Cornhuskers players named to the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watchlist, Banks is one of the offensive players mentioned.

In his last season with Wake Forest, he appeared in all the team games making 10 starts, he ended the season recording 59 receptions, a team-high record of 653 yards. In 2024 he was named to the Brook Berrunger Citizenship Team and Tom Osborne Citizen Team. The 2024 season opener on August 31 will be a way forward for Banks to create an impact for the Huskers.

During his career at Wake Forest, he earned the Honorable-Mention All-ACC in 2022, helping Wake Forest to an 8-5 record, registering more than 100 catches and 1,400 receiving yards. He also racked up four touchdown passes that ended in a tie for the team and ranked fifth in the ACC receptions per game.
