Team RCB has been involved in a rare feat in IPL. They have been involved in all three 200-run partnerships in IPL where they are on the receiving end once.

It was the Australian duo of Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh who put up a record 2nd wicket stand of 206 in 2011 at Dharamshala in a game against the RCB. But with the kind of firepower RCB had in its batting, it was a matter of time before that got emulated or broken.

Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle came tantalizingly close to breaking that record when they put on 204 runs together in a game against Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2012. Last year it was RCB again as they finally managed to break the record as Virat Kohli and AB de Villers put together a record stand of 215 in a game against the Mumbai Indians in Mumbai
