Anderson can hit it long and hard

Corey Anderson is one of the most exciting all-rounders currently in world cricket. His ability to whack the ball out of the park and also bowl efficiently makes him a captain’s delight.

The Mumbai Indians were able to chase down a target of 190 runs in just 14 overs against the Rajasthan Royals in a do or die clash largely because of Anderson’s heroics with the willow. He scored the fastest century in ODI cricket achieving the milestone in just 36 balls which earned him the limelight.

Though his opportunities for the Mumbai Indians were limited owing to the presence of Kieron Pollard he has the ability to be a game-changer for his side. His ability to pick up wickets is an added bonus. The decision to release a player of his calibre might come back to haunt them.
