Vijay only plays test cricket for India

The Indian opener made his IPL debut in 2009 for Chennai Super Kings. Murali Vijay's memories with the yellows have been gratifying as he played a vital role in CSK's maiden title triumph in 2010, the season where he scored his first IPL century - 127 off just 56 balls.

Furthermore, 'the monk' scored match-winning 95 in 2011 finals and led his team to consecutive title wins, a feat that only CSK has achieved.

After spending a few years with DD and KXIP, the 33-year-old was roped-in by CSK once again in 2018 auctions, and he won't be bothered if his career ends with them.

Performance for CSK:

Innings - 83

Runs - 2097

Strike Rate - 125.41
